Just bought a 2003 Expedition XLT last week-end and noticed the puddle lamps in the side mirrors are recessed versus other XLT models on the lot that have a flush lamp cover. What does this difference mean. Just curious.

XLT's all the same ...
I think all the XLT's are the same style. Are you looking at Eddie Baurs with the integral turnsignal/puddle lamp? They have a yellow lens along the bottom of the mirrors that house the turnsignal/puddle lamps. Mike
