starting to become a recurring question...i like the look too...

will they fit? yes...will it look good? yes...will you have to modify the lights...YES!!! ok...so the only real reason i havent switched like youre wanting to do is becuz the 3rd gens...07+ have defined sharp edges/corners...2nd gens 03-06 are more rounded so they will stick out at the corners/edges...some...enough that you CAN tell the diff...

now...modifying...there will be modifying involved...the reverse light socket and hole is smaller on the 3rd gens...then on the 2nd gens...so in order to get your reverse light socket in the hole...you will have to dremel the hole big enough to get the socket in...the 2nd gen reverse lights are at the bottom...3rd gens at the top...

there are pics of this on here..user is "expedition"...he's no longer on the site cuz he bought a navigator and is currently working on his honda accord...heres the link:

You don't have to dremel anything if you just splice 194 bulb connectors in the reverse wiring. You can then use the 921 bulb in the tail lights without having to modify them. If you don't like the look, you can just resell them.

By request, here's a pic of the connector. It's the white one with the black and brown wire coming from it. I got it either at Advance or Autozone, in the section with all the different light sockets. This one is a 194 (which has the same base as a 921.) I don't remember it costing more than a few dollars each.

It might take a bit of effort to get the socket to go in the lights, but that's probably do to the socket being aftermarket. The only concern would be the fact that the socket is 194 socket, which has a lower draw than a 921 bulb. I suppose as long as you're not reversing for miles, you should be fine.
