I almost bought one...so dont for other repairs? How much for a decent scanner for a beginner?
A good decent scanner can run under $200 but this guy (king.brad) goes and spends $700.00 for a used scanner (Snap-On) but it too lazy and cheap to spend $20.00 for the ford service manual because he wants others to give him the information. NOW that is what I call using your head.

1 this had nothing to do with you.
2 your asking questions about getting a copy of an owner's manual on a thread about fixing a problem, I don't see why you don't make your own thread asking witch on to buy.
3 he started running his mouth first, making jokes and being a ***** when all I asked was for a bit if help.
4 the garbage that he did give was just that a bunch of garbage, just like I'm sure every other word out of his sorry mouth is.

If you want advice from people that will ridicule and belittle you then by all means get your advice from these sacs of shit, but not me I will never use this site again because clearly I still get the job done without there so called "help"

Have a good time dealing with these degenerates and there below average IQ's

1. I see this guy pushes these manuals on everyone, hard not to say it's a business when clearly it is.

2. As an admin you should see that he called me names first, like lazy and cheap. When clearly I am not, I work on my own car and buy tools that I see fit.

3. I just so happen to have a larger vocabulary then these low life's so i found some words that I thought fit them well

4. You can ban me, I don't give a ****. You my be an auto tech but you probably don't no Jack about computers and how easy it is to change ip addresses

5. If these are the two "best techs" you have I feel bad for your business.

6. I feel they owe me an apology for mocking me and making fun when all I did was ask for help.

It's sad that you would go after the person asking for help instead of confronting the people making fun of that person asking for help. But it's what I would expect from a group of guys that probably all sit drinking together making fun of people trying to fix there truck

Well now you have my curiosity...."the admin probably doesn't know jack about computers." Really?

Hmmm, brings to mind the scene in Jaws where they are comparing scars right before the boat is attacked by the shark.

Ok King Brad, lay out your background in computers.
I'll start:
Sys Admin / Solaris back in the day, IT Support for Hershey International, MCSE NT 4.0 and a couple other certs form MS, CompTIA A+, built pc's and supported/repaired Apple macs, ran cable drops.

I am so old - I even remember adding 256k chips to a daughterboard to expand memory to a whopping 2megs. The hard drives where huge boxes that weighed over 100lbs and would tip the rack over if you forgot to extend the legs out. Shoot they were even belt driven back then. Anybody remember the platters? Did those also. Pulled out token ring and replaced it with cat3 cable. I also remember when you had only 640K memory to work with in DOS. For those that remember those days, big changes since then...The internet wasn't even on the drawing boards.
Anybody remember Windows 3.0?

Its not his DVD I asked him in a PM and I trust him he said no. I do give people the benefit of doubt just like I gave you. Really does cheap and lazy hurt your feelings?

The only thing you guys are sucking down are each other's small ***** cuz your a bunch of faggets. this is pretty bad Brad no one says this on the forum and forum is all it is.
hudreds of people have had no problem following there directions to fix there trucks if you really want a ford tech then ford tech, ford techs, ford mechanics, ford technicians, automotive repair, technicians, union technicians and mechanics, auto advice, auto support forums, automotive technicians, diesel techs, diesel technicians, power stroke technicians, auto techs might be a better place to go click on the link they will help its flat rate tech dot com

Brad This is a copy of the PM I sent to you suggesting that you obtain a copy of the workshop Manual The following shows your reply to my PM

"Thanks but right now I'm just looking for tips and tricks to help me solve my problem, if nothing else works I will definitely by an owner's manual"

Don't waste your money on a Clymer, Haynes or Chilton Manual.
It is well worth the $20.00 just make sure you get the DVD for your year as the seller has different DVD's for different years.

I suggested a WORKSHOP MANUAL due to the fact that it would help you have a better understanding of the systems in you Nav. You are correct in that I suggest this manual to many others and I do so with the sole purpose to offer the information that a FORD manual provides over a aftermarket manual. And also the information, troubleshooting, fixes and also wiring diagrams are specific to the year and model of the expy/nav that the member owns. This information not only cost less but also contains information that isn't available in the aftermarket manual. I also have to add that since joining the forum I noticed that Stamp was the best for electrical advice. I decide to consult with him on a few of my own problems and I discovered that he didn't have all of the manuals that I had. At that time I offered him a set of the manuals that I had so that we could work better together in providing support to members. Those manuals were provided to him at no cost to him and I even paid to have them mailed to him. As I have stated to you in other post I do not have anything to do with the seller of those DVD's nor do I offer them for sale nor profit from any sale of these DVD's I offer the suggestion to help others so that they can become more knowledgeable and also that when advice is offered on a problem that we can all be on the same page.
Your reply that you were "just looking for tips and tricks" and "if nothing else works I will definitely by an owner's manual" Made me wonder why you would buy a owners manual when it was suggested for you to get a workshop manual.

Also as I said before that you original post gave the impression that you were better than anyone else and your comment that you are hardly ever wrong and showed me that you are that type of person that no matter what was suggested you were better than the person making the suggestion. You recent posts again show me what a immature child you are and your feeling's got hurt because you could not get your way.

You had TWO members offer you help and suggest you get the workshop manual this was done so you would have the information available to you so it wouldn't be needed to send you copies or instruction or hold your hand It was also so you could learn proper troubleshooting procedures. You showed us that you weren't interested in obtaining that information but as you said you were "just looking for tips and tricks"
By the codes you said were showing it was obvious that you had some serious electrical problems and your refusal to obtain the WORKSHOP MANUAL showed that you weren't really interested in solving your problem.

And now you come on saying you solved your problem But your not going to post that information which just proves to me as a child would say ITS MY BALL SO WE PLAY BY MY RULES.

You need to ask yourself With all the replies to you original post.
Why was it that only TWO people offered any advice??

I am sure that you have looked at other posts by stamp and myself and notice that most of the times others chime in But yet no one offered you any other help on your problem. Some how I don't think that stamp and I are wrong I do however think that of all the views you had on this thread that others could see that the problem was YOU

Computers are my strong point, I have studied c++ programming and graphic art and design. My father programmed and sold his own cable company, and I have built and encrypted multiple websites.

Not only have I studied and when to school for computer skills I also put myself through pharmacy tech school and was planning on becoming an auto tech as well. I'm far from stupid considering my IQ is 155. And if the average IQ is 100 I would have to guess bedrck46's IQ is probably a solid 70.

To bedrck46: you say I came on with attitude, amazing I didn't know you where a text to emotion specialist I thought you specialized in automobiles. Turns out you don't know either because I didn't have a "major electrical issue" it was a minor electrical issue. I know you have me advice but it did nothing for me and instead of handing out advice you have me info that I either A: found on this site or others. B. I already knew.

You think I'm childish, look at your old ass giving a 25yo shit over the internet. Your no saint, if you where as mature as you are old one would think you wouldn't act do childish. But considering you are not, and taking in the fact that your iq is below average it doesn't surprise me that you are the way you are.

I would say grow up but the sad thing is your all grown up
