2006 Expy dead motor?

Update!

Well didnt get too much time to work on the Expy this weekend, but I did manage to pull the spark plug and take a look in the cylinder. Safe to say that the motor is trashed. The valve is also missing! I wonder if it made it through the hole in the piston and is now in the sump?

Wowee, that stinks..... never been a fan of going to get an auction car because you can’t even take a good look at what you’re buying. In many cases the previous owners didn’t take care of them. After your replace the motor be sure to change your oil at minimum intervals, many top end problems can be avoided with good maintenance.

For that valve to totally go MIA, the valve keepers and spring would have shot north, then the valve crashed through piston jettisoning into crank case. That would be one hell of a Saturday night at the Bayou Drag Nationals!
