Hey guys I'm new to the forum.

Just wondering if anyone knows any tricks or upgrades to improve the fuel economy on my 2007 Expedition Max "Same as EL"

Is it worth tting a chip or K&N filter in.

Thanks

They would help, but not by much. But at the same time, any increase in fuel economy on these rigs is significant.

If you want to go all out, you can probably get a custom tune made specific for your vehicle.

A lighter right foot.

You can add e-fans, intake, exhaust, and a programmer.

I have the K&N intake and the Superchips Cortex tuner running the 87 octane program. I also have the 3.73 gears. I'm getting about 15 running around town and about 18 highway. Realize that the mods you do to improve MPG will probably cost more than you will save in gas.

Dont waste your money on an intake. Get a custom programmer for about $600 and call it a day. Im getting between 11 and 12 in the city and I have a lift and 33's plus all the extra weight also.
