2008 Backup Camera setting?!?

I bought my wife an 08 limited today. It has the nav screen, but not synch. When I put the car in reverse to drive it off the lot, i thought "cool" as I looked at the reverse camera image displayed on the nav screen. Went to lunch and got back in it, went into reverse, and the camera image shows in the rear view mirror. Can't figure out how to make it show in the nav screen again and of course no manuals in the car.

I can live with it showing only in the rear view, but I SWEAR it showed in the nav screen the first time!

Thoughts? Settings?

when you put it into reverse under your speedo and stuff it should say park aid (on) off i think if you press info above the nav it should switch it to an option where you can do that but idk my 07 does not have a reverse cam that's i think they would do it. oh and pressing reset should change the option

I dont think the rear view image was ever available on the factory NAV screen until 09 when sync came out. I have an 08 and mine shows up on the mirror too. Unless it has some aftermarket thing hooked up I dont think there is even a video input going to the NAV unit.

You are correct sir! I had test driven a 2010 earlier in te day, and I now believe the car buying insanity melted the images together in my head!
