2010 Lincoln Navigator L Balljoint Replacement

Hey team, looking for some input on parts quality for upper and lower balljoints on my 2010 Lincoln Navigator L. Its got 103k on the clock and the alignment shop wont touch it because of a 1/4" of up and down play in the lower balljoints.

MOOG has always had a good reputation but I hear their parts come from all over the world so I wanted to get some input on Ford OE vs Moog vs ??

Your can’t go wrong with OEM parts.

I’d buy the Ford ones when it comes to anything like suspension components. They come with new control arms and are pressed on for the upper ones. Not sure on the lowers. Check out Rock Auto and FordPartsGiant, Rock Auto will list them as Motorcraft parts.

I've read that about Ford bj's failing as early as 50,000 miles. Since I am gonna bust my knuckles and stain the driveway with blood and beer and I only want to do this once! I love this Navigator dearly but it looks like 100k is like an alarm for some stuf to give up the ghost. I did the rear air struts last month.

Want to save money? RockAuto lists SUSPENSIA, Pusan China's best, for $14.

There's only one choice in my book, but heck, it's only a ball joint and who cares if it falls apart at 70 MPH?

Hey, they even sell an upper one for $4. Just imagine the savings! I've had bad experiences with Moog lately and only use OEM stuff now. Just too much junk out there.
