I have a 2010 Expedition. Recently, the ABS light, traction control light, and emergency brake light all came on. The mechanic ran the codes and determined we needed a new computer part. He did not provide me with the codes or the part needed. We've recently been informed that the part won't be available until November 1! Has anyone else had issues like this? Can anyone tell me why the part is on backorder for so long?

You should have asked the person that told you the part was not available until November 1.

Without you providing the part information and/or part number, you can not expect people on this forum to guess why the part is not available.

And it is brake, not break.

Welcome to the forum

It would be nice to know what the codes were and he should have told you what they were.
See if you can take the Expy to advance auto or autozone and ask if they can read the codes Then post them here on the forum.
I will look them up and post the information for you

Give her a BREAK, she's new and I guess you never misspelled anything At least you understood what she meant I have seen far worse spelling.
