2011 Expedition EL uphill stuttering

Hello
I recently purchased a 2011 Expedition. The truck seems fine on flat ground and has no issues accelerating.. When I try to climb a hill the truck stutters for approx. 10 seconds then seems to downshift and corrects the stuttering??? What could be causing this that it would only be felt on hills and not flat ground.. The Truck is still under warranty so I may call the dealership. I was just curious if anyone had an idea??

Definitely take it in as it's under warranty. How many miles do you have on it? Is it jerking or stumbling? Jerking would be tranny related, stumbling would be an engine issue (running rough or missing).
