2011 Power Side view Mirror

Driver side mirror is acting up and not folding back out. Really don't want to spend $800 on a new mirror from Ford. Anyone know of the internal actuator can be replaced (like on other Ford vehicles)? Doesn't seem to hard to do.

The power actuator (for the inside of the assembly) is sold separately for the mirror by Ford.

Where did you determine it would cost $800 on a new mirror?

I called the dealer today. The std mirror is $268, but a new paint to match mirror is $798

Thank you for the info! I didn't know about the actuator until I had started digging.
