2011 won't crank, nothing...

Hello,
I have a 2011 Limited ex 4x4 with 321k ,mi. I just replaced the motor with one having 126k. Now, when I go to start it, I get nothing. All accessories work but no start. I replaced the starter also. Sometimes when you push forward hard on the shifter it will start. But not always. I know thw safety switch is "in" the trans. Could it be something else? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Bo

Try holding the key in the start position and switch between park and neutral - it sounds like the neutral safety switch

Pushing on the shifter hard is the clue. I will vouch for the neutral safety switch also.

Had similar issue on F150, was ign safety switch on shifter.
