Hello Team 3rd gen.

I have a 2012 with 159k on it and the headlights are definitely ready to be replaced from fading and road dings. They are also not very bright at night any more. I would like OEM of course but they are discontinued and the 2 sources parts.ford.com offered over the phone don't have them. I've read the threads here and yes there are the usual suspects like rockauto and eBay, but I don't want cheap looking headlights and was looking for help / feedback on any others have installed that were good quality. Specifically my Limited came factory with the dark tint headlights not the standard clear. I try to keep it in good shape and kicking myself for not getting spares sooner but it is what it is.

I'd also consider used if in good condition.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Well, for my '011 EL, I got my new headlights (clear) from da Zonner, for ~$300 IIRC, and I installed LED bulbs at the same time, which were another $50..

BUT that was a few years ago, so they're probably a little more now..

I saw that in a previous reply from you in another thread, but couldn't find headlights there today. Would you happen to have a link or route to the ones you ordered? I appreciate your reply.

I also have a 2012 Expedition and I replaced both headlights last year…I tried Ford Parts Department and they wanted $600..no thanks…a friend of mine suggested FinditParts an I got both assemblies for $338.00. they work great and I like the look of them as well as they are smoked glass…

This is helpful and they look sharp too. "FinditParts" seems to be for semi trucks on the site I found. Is there another link I should try?

Torn between picking up 2012-2014 blackout headlights for less than $250 from rock auto (TYC brand), or bite the bullet on 2015-2017 blackout headlights for significantly more. UGH! Decisions decisions.

Sorry for the delayed reply, but here are the ones I got...

They've went way down in price, which is a rarity nowadays, but welcomed nonetheless...

After inserting the LED bulbs, there are only 2 mounting screws to deal with & a quick alignment check and BOOM...done, done, & done :D
