Hi all, I just joined but been a long time expy fan (after having one for a work car) and just bought my own. I have an odd question (hopefully I can explain).

It is the limited so I assume that might have an inpact on the buttons/layout. When I turn on the rear heat from the front it turns on and blows hot air. From the front I can control fan speed. The issue is the air seems to be coming out of floor level and not the vents on the roof. The back control panel has a control knob that seems like it would control which vents the air comes from but it also has the red and blue dial and I cant seem to switch it to get the air through the ceiling.

Am I missing something? nothing seems broken, it is just not making sense. Thanks in advance!

I bought a new 2015 Ford Expedition Limited 4x4, with the dual-zone front and rear HVAC.

The air will only blow from the floor vents on the rear heat setting (second and third rows). The a/c will blow from the ceiling vents.

I returned the vehicle to the dealer while under the new-car warranty and was told Ford did not design the system to blow warm air from the upper vents while on the heat setting (2nd and 3rd row) - only the floor vents.

Another feature I hate about the Expedition.

How odd. I would never have guessed that but now I finally understand given the odd buttons. THANK YOU!
