Hi,
I have a 2014 Expedition XL EL.
I got it with a steel pipe connecting the front of the engine to the back effectively bypassing the front and rear heater cores.
I have looked up several replacement videos and hacks but all of them show hoses with the quick connect/disconnect connector OEM hoses.
These hoses cost a fortune in saudi arabia and there aren't any cheap alternatives like in the US.
What i want to know is can i directly connect a hose to the heater core and engine front and rear without using the quick connect/disconnect connector.
Similar to other engines with hose clamps.
or is the quick connect/disconnect connector required.
