2014 Expy, retain backup camera

I replaced the factory stereo with an Apple Carplay model from Pioneer, wondering if there is a way to tap into the rearview camera to get it to display on the new aftermarket stereo? My Expedition has the backup camera going to the rearview mirror, would like it on the much bigger screen. Do I have to pull the headliner and tap in there? Or can I catch it somewhere else where its easier to access?

As far as I know, there is no adapter that will allow you to tap the factory cam into a Pioneer head.
