2015 P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire

Our Expedition has been experiencing a 'surge' or gear hunting at around 60mph recently. It got worse Tuesday evening and we received this code (P0301) and a flashing check engine light. On Wednesday, I replaced the plugs and moved the #1 coil to the #2 cylinder as a troubleshooting measure. I also cleaned the throttle body. It has been driving great since then. For kicks, I pulled the codes today at lunch and saw that the P0301 was back and stated "maturing but intermittent at time of poll". There is no check engine light, though.

What other troubleshooting can be done at this point?

Nevermind, after over a week of driving, the symptoms haven’t appeared again and no codes. I think it was an aging code from before the plugs that was still there.
