Sync and menus don’t work... no phone abilities, sync media is blank, no master reset or factory reset options in menu…No menu.

2015 XLT with base SYNC.
SYNC was updated a year ago.
Will another update via USB revive it?
APIM module dead?
Removed SYNC fuse overnight..
Anyone else go through this?
Any luck with used APIM modules?

The Bluetooth came back but the backup camera is here today but gone tomorrow off and on…
This should have been a NHTSA recall regardless of age and mileage as a safety hazard..
This failure has been experienced by thousands of Expedition owners but…
NHSTA has recalled numerous vehicles well off of warranty (My 2016 Mustang as an example) for backup camera failures.
Ford probably wiggled out of replacing the Expedition module in the console due to the Mustang only requiring a wiring fix in the trunk as opposed to yanking the console apart and sourcing and replacing the expensive module.
Thanks Ford.
