2017 expedition limited rear a/c working intermittenly

I have a 2017 expedition and the rear a/c works when ever it wants. Sometimes it blows hard freezing cold air and other times it barely blows and most of the time it doesn’t blow at all. Looking for any advice.

Is the result the same using rear controls?
