I’m needing the carpet panel that’s at the bottom backside of the 3rd row seat. It stands up when the seats are up and lays down to cover the gap when you lower the seat. Ford says 2019 you can’t buy just the panel you have to buy the whole assembly ($900-$1,200). 2017 you can buy just the panel and bracket ($300). Will the 17 work, or is it totally different?

I believe that's accurate. Our 2018 had a problem with the spring and it was slightly raised when we bought it. The salesman said it would get fixed, along with a few other minor issues. After the service, the flap still is not perfect and when I asked to have it replaced with new, they said they couldn't because it was like $1500.

It does seem silly. It's just a flimsy piece of plastic and it's going to get damaged if you haul much, IMO.

Maybe get the factory rubber liner? (it's documented in another thread and got rave reviews)

I called airport ford in Florence ky last week and they could get the factory liner for 158 total. I thought that was high and it talked me out of it. Guys were getting them for more like 140, but many had trouble getting one in. Airport could get it next day, but I’ll stick with what I have for now.
