Has anyone had their transmission serviced yet on their 2018 or newer Expedition? How did it go? Has anyone found an aftermarket dipstick that can allow the owner to check the fluid level and refill?

On my 99 Silverado I will drain the transmission by unhooking the tranny cooler line and letting the fluid come out while pouring new fluid from the top, which effectively gets most of the fluid out from the torque converter as well as the pan. Without an easily accessed tranny fill port I don’t think it’s going to be as easy on the Expedition.

I'm no expert, but it's my understanding that it's a sealed tranny meaning the only way you're going to have access to it is from underneath.

There’s this dipstick that can be added for checking tranny fluid levels but it doesn’t look robust enough to quickly fill the transmission with fluid. So. I one on this forum has had their transmission serviced yet by a mechanic or DIY?

The new transmissions are airtight, by design. I am not sure why. The F150's supposedly can hold an extra quart and 1/2. Fordrtechmakuloco, noticed this on his video. The truck he serviced was low(130kmi, no leaks).
