2018 Expedition drivers side LED DLR dimmer than passenger side

I have a 2018 Expedition limited with the LED headlights. I noticed today that the drivers side daytime running light part (the C shape trim around the assembly) is quite a bit dimmer than that of the passenger side. Has anyone had this issue and is there a fix (without paying for a new light assembly)?

Did you ever find a resolve to this? I noticed driving in front of my wife this weekend that the driver side did not look as bright. I have not seen anything on the forums regarding this issue or a resolution.
