My delivery date got moved up to this Friday...so I’ll post some pics of my metallic white max platinum. But no blacked out c-pillar, sorry, the look just isn’t for me.

Picked her (him? it?) up today. I can post some more pics later on. What a fantastic automobile it is.
Side note, my dealer said the platinums are the trouble spot right now because of the wheels. Ford can pump out XLTs all day, but he doesn’t expect them to see any more platinums for a couple of months because of wheel unavailability.
Congrats Aggie!!! Mine is still not here!!! As unbelievable as this sounds.......My salesman and long time friend told us there was an robbery/attempted robbery at the train yard. We dont know if anything was actually damaged or stolen. There is an investigation going on right now. Have no idea what will happen. My wife is going nuts. She was ready to drive to Bham today to pick her up!

They aren’t really moving any.... ford sold 4,000 units in January, GM sold over 20,000 Tahoes for a reference point in that same month. Expedition sales are already down 15% from previous month as well.

Here’s a few more (some of which aren’t the best photos but you’ll have to blame the ghost of Steve Jobs for that...and the fact that I loaded lower quality shots to get more in). I can entertain requests if anyone wants to see something particular.
It’s a Max Platinum in Platinum White, 4x4, no tow package, captains in the second row.
We went with captains even though we only have 2 kids because the tip ‘n slide doesn’t work with our car seats as our kids are too heavy for the LATCH and the shoulder belt prevents that feature from working as advertised. Much to my disappointment.
I’ve put a whole 150 miles on it. Surprisingly the adaptive cruise is my favorite feature. Coming back from the dealer I did 45 miles on the freeway in and out of heavy traffic and didn’t touch the pedals once. The system will bring you to a compete stop and get you moving again all on its own. It’s awesome.
I also thought the park assist would be gimmicky but I love it. I am an avid back-in parker and the system works like a dream. To test the parallel park option, I tried to get it to park in a spot that seemed waaay too small, but the truck got itself in with little difficulty. And out again. Very very cool.
