Emblem and c pillars were done by vinyl heat wrap. Saw it on Instagram

The rims cost $100 per wheel - I live in OC - a place called Santa Ana Wheel in Anaheim - ask for Scott
The emblems were wrapped in Vinyl - they wrap the whole logo then go through the letters with a exact knife real slow - then heat the ends so they stick down and melt a little of the glue down. That wrap guy is in SA - JPWRAPS - he's on yelp and instagram. Good luck

$100 per wheel? Did he even do any surface prep or just coat over what was there...?

They fully stripped the original finish and prepped everything correctly - he wanted 140 a wheel but we worked it out because my buddy bought some wheels from him too. BTW - we r in So Cal we have 15 places to choose from down here - much more competition. 8 options in SA and Anaheim alone. A little condescending btw - don't assume you know everything about people and their post - what cost $100 here for services like this would cost about $150 where you live - think about it

And I think most people know you can't spray over the original surface - and I bet you could not even find a place that would just spray over the original surface -

Looks great! Mind me asking how much to do the wheels and how much to do the logos? These Ford logos with the cameras are probably finicky to swap out, unlike the Chevy bowtie, and therefore, not a lot of options, but I would think there'd be easier ways to get alt colors than going thru Bullit and plasti-dipping is tough too with the fancy Ford font. Also, the lack of wheel choices on the Platinum is frustrating for this price of vehicle.

Thanks

**Later I see I must have replied after you gave the good info. My bad.

Looks good, and gives your Plat some uniqueness, since they don't really give you (m)any options to do so from factory.

Happy to join the forum!
We picked up our new 19 Platinum AWD last week and we're loving it! The memories of our 2009 Escalade Ultra Luxury AWD have faded quickly without remorse.
I thought it was funny the salesman put the bow on the hood before my wife arrived to see the vehicle we were dealing on. 06a2b286b5b917682ea8c3a9eae6358d.jpgffc21da7865dd71604981394fd089370.jpgb5452eb2d703f9b471ce70fa324d188f.jpg

It’s not AWD, it’s 4WD

Thanks! We love it. It's got the black interior. I thought the ceramic colored interior would be beautiful, but kids and all... chose to stay with black

I also got black even though I reeeeeally wanted ceramic...the ceramic looks so good with the platinum white. In any case, I have 2 boys, 5 and 2, and figured anything other than the black was asking for trouble. The light headliner in the platis really does a good job lightening up the interior anyway.

SWEET! One post and I'm welcomed with a correction!
AWD, full time 4wd, 4x4, 4wd, whatever....
It's obvious that I still properly communicated what vehicle I have in my garage.
Sorry hope the dealer didn’t use that as a selling point

He didn't. I know the difference and I did my own research before purchasing. The 2019 with heavy duty tow package includes a full time 4wd mode, which is what I wanted at a minimum. Not exactly the same as AWD, but functions similar enough.
The salesman basically got a lotto ticket when I walked in. I already had all the features, options, research, and even inventory availability known before he set eyes on me. The was no haggling as I used Costco vehicle purchase program.
Thank you for the good intentions.
