New to the forum. I read through a lot of posts, but no one has a fix for this. Happened twice. Once around 47K miles, now at 50K. Car runs fine. Stop to get groceries. Get back in and it won’t start. Dash goes dark, engine clicks, nothing happens. Batter is new motor craft battery from ford. First time it happened had it towed to the dealership and they said it was the battery. We replaced it in disbelief. It didn’t do this for three months, now it happened again stranding us at Costco. At least we didn’t go hungry! No errors on the dash. No warning. It just happens out of nowhere.
