2019 Expedition Limited Bluetooth won’t connect to IPhone

For the past week when I start my vehicle my Bluetooth searches for my iPhone but gives me an error and won’t connect. I have updated my phone and the software on my radio is updated also. I have to forget my device on my iPhone and start from the beginning to pair my device with my Expedition every time I start my vehicle now. Has anyone else had this issue or know how I can fix it?

Are you also deleting the phone from the radio? Do both. Delete Sync from the phone Bluetooth and also delete the phone from the radio. Do a soft reset on the radio too. Hold down the volume button and the >> button until the screen goes black. The radio will reset. Then repair the phone.

if what @Rob6805 doesn’t work, you may need to update your SYNC software to the newest version.
