2019 Expy Max Limited...3rd row (40 side) stuck in stowed. 60 side works fine. I've disconnected battery / checked fuse / pushed the buttons. There is no noise at all when buttons are pushed. Visually wiring looks fine...who knows. Is there a manual release? I wish I could move the wiring from the 60 side over to the 40 just to get it unstowed. Any suggestions?

My 2024 less than 1k miles had the issue on the 60 side. At first it intermittently stopped working. Had to take it in. First they replaced the button which didn't fix it. Next was more involved and not cheap but mine's under warranty. I posted what was replaced https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/3rd-row-seat-not-folding.55576/page-2 It's unlikely the same reason yours isn't working though.

They have to be fully removed to troubleshoot by the looks of it. There’s no video on YouTube for the process but I’m going to tackle the job soon now that the weather is warming up. The motors go bad in these things often it seems.

I would first see if power is getting to the switch. If it is, activate switch to see if power goes to the motor.

Also, depending on your skillset, you can make a jumper to send power directly to the motor. If it actuates, it’s the switch. If it doesn’t, it’s the motor.
