It has been hard to find exactly what we were looking for but when we did the dealer doesn't even have it on the lot. They say the demand is so high that they are selling before they get to the dealer. Anyway it is inbound and should arrive in a day or two. Our first new vehicle since our 03 EB Expedition. Pretty excited to say the least.

Congrats on your new purchase. Post some pictures when it arrives. Our dealerships here in the North Shore of Chicago have plenty of Limited, XLT models, but do not see many Platinums. Both at the dealership for sale and ones that have been purchased and are driving around the city.

Got it the new one! Love it! Magnetic Metallic; we pretty much got everything excluding the rear seat entertainment.
The weather has been crappy so I don't have a pic, just a Ford stock photo.

I cannot believe how poor the resale and wholesale value of my 03 Eddie Bauer is. :(

I mean, your ‘03 was a 16 year old high mileage used car which they made thousands, if not more, of. It’s hard to hold value with those issues hanging around.

That, and everyone that's not been sleeping in a cave knows of the sparkplug issue with all 97-04 Expeditions. I bought a cherry 2000 with only 64k for $3,000, 4 years back. And it sat across from my house for months. Pickups are worth more if clean, by as much as $1,000. People these days are so computer savvy, that even an 80 year old grandpa knows what's up. Depending on condition and mileage your 03 is worth $2,000 to $3,500. Pretty rotten for a truck that cost $35 grand or more new. Want return on a 16 year item? Buy real estate in San Francisco or New York. Not cars or trucks.

My 01 Sport Trac has more value, I thought that to be weird. I mean it’s a good utility vehicle but no where near all the bells and whistles our EB Expedition had.
