Build week now pushed again out to 10-13-25. Six months from order date. If this was due to vibration issues with wheels and tires, does anyone know what the resolution was/is?
That is depressing to hear. Mine still shows 10/6. I'll let you know if it changes at all.

Has yours shifted at all? Knock on wood, mine still has 10-6 listed as the build date.

If that’s behind an Apple and/or WSJ paywall…

A fire at a critical aluminum supplier a couple weeks ago has caused Ford to put production of all vehicles built at their Kentucky plant on hold. This includes the Expi and the Navi. The downtime is only expected to be a couple weeks and Ford is trying to just pull forward some downtime previously scheduled for later this year. That said, they are prioritizing the F150 as it’s, obviously, their moneymaker.

Yes!, things are looking up… please keep us posted here, I will as well.
Got a couple more alerts over the past couple of days. Looks like it's shipped/shipping. Might get it at the end of the month from the looks of it. It's being shipped to the Hartford CT area so you have an idea of distance from the plant. I'll let you know when it arrives or if I get anything else before the next update.

Mine was shipped yesterday as well, the app changed yesterday from built to order confirmed then shipped today.

I'm curious what's going to happen with mine. It went into production on 10/7, actually ahead of schedule, and sat there since then. I wonder if the Expedition pause due to the fire is going to impact or not. I would have assumed since it started being built before the pause they'd finish it (or have already and the site just hasn't updated), but who knows.

If your Expedition made it through the Body Shop, which it probably has since its first production date is 10/7, then the Aluminum plant fire won't be an issue. That being said, there are other supplier constraints, thanks to tariffs might be a factor. It appears that any Aluminum destined for Ford have been focused on F150 (the 'Cash Cow") production. Ford is testing the quality of Aluminum from other plants of the affected Aluminum producer in foreign countries. Unfortunately, even if the quality is there, I suspect Trump's tariffs may impact costs and pricing

Any luck with yours lately? Mine is saying the estimate delivery is between 10/18 and 10/24 now instead of 10/24 and 10/30. I am hoping that they will let me take in on or after 11/1 because that means property taxes will get prorated for the year for me.

I continue to be stuck in production since 10/7 with no updates. It'll be interesting to see what this aluminum shortage does to the late 2025 build schedule.
