2021 Engine Fire Recall Truck is being fixed

My local dealer picked up my 2021 on August 1st to install the new part to fix the chance of engine fire. Still driving the Yukon they provided back in earlier June. Ford also sent me a $500.00 debit card for my trouble.

Wait, wait, you're driving a rental/loaner Yukon? LOL, I went through hell just over a year ago as Ford would "Only" reimburse the dealer for rental during my Phaser replacement if the rental was a Ford. It was so bad, they tried to put me into a Focus. I said hell no! They are desperate!

I was provided the Yukon because all of Enterprise's Expeditions have also been been recalled and are just sitting on the lot. Maybe it helped I have had a 20+ year relation with my local service department?

Ford first would only approve ford rentals but none were available so they okayed anything. They gave me a pos toyota camry to drive. At least it was transportation. Supposed to get a 500 dollar debit card also but have not received. Did you receive yours alread?

Had mine fixed yesterday. Dealer is over 20 miles each way and took 2 hours to fix it. Sat in a 90 degree customer lounge and went outside to cool off. Ought to be worth $500 bucks for a whole day shot.

No, I have not received my $500 card yet. I would think it's going to take a while...

Had this done on my '21 Navigator a couple of weeks ago and the $500 card just showed up in the mail from Lincoln yesterday!
