Twice this evening the alarm has gone off. First time I walked around everything was locked up. The truck had been parked in the driveway for about 8 hours. So, I locked it up again, got the beep and the light flash. Then while talking to my neighbor about 50 feet away the damn thing went off again. So, now it's just locked up for the night. My wife has some ap from Ford that told her that it was activated and gave her the times.
Curious, is that part of the Sync system? I ask 'cause that's what is screwing up the radio. Any thoughts??

I am sure this is not the issue you are having since it was locked up for a long time. I had a similar issue earlier this year and it turned out that a butterfly found its way into my vehicle and was flying around inside. It drove my wife and I crazy for about 30 minutes.

did the alarm alert your wife received indicate if the alarm was from movement inside the vehicle.

The internal motion alarm is very sensitive. As @Jamaican Cruiser said, bugs have set off a number of folks' alarms (flies are a big culprit it seems). Someone on here also had a plastic water bottle contract in the cool evening air and that set it off. I would expect that's your issue.

The surefire cure is to set your alarm to "Perimeter Only" on exit.
