Hi all. New member from Southern California. I picked up a new to me 2022 Platinum MAX with 36k miles a few weeks back. I've been lurking the page a bit and figure I'd post up. Here it is just after delivery:

I immediately had plans to make it mine and the chrome delete was priority #1. I started the chrome delete the weekend after I took ownership Here's where I'm at so far:

I went with satin vinyl on the window trim and running board trim. I did the back hatch chrome strip in gloss black. Eventually I will get to the roof rack in satin, the silver spots on the front and rear bumper in gun metal, the horizontal bars on the grille in gloss black, and the fog light chrome accents in gun metal. This is how I envision the front to look when its all complete:

I installed Trim Illusions black snap on door handle covers in black and plan to do the same for the Trim Illusions mirror covers (they're backordered till 4/15).

This last picture was this morning when I walked out of the house. It looked so good, I had to take a pic. The truck came with privacy glass and 20% tint over it on the back windows. I installed 20% tint on the front windows.

Also, I just picked up a ReadyLift 3"/2" kit and will likely have it installed next weekend, since this weekend is Easter.

After the lift will come wheels/tires. I have ideas and pictures, but the site will only allow me to post 5 on here. I'll do a follow up (with photos) of the tint and wheels I'm thinking of going with. I'm hoping to learn a few things here and glad to meet everyone.

I'm probably going to wrap them in 285/60R20 Falken WildPeak A/T 4's. Once there, I will likely be done.

I had no experience. Watched a bunch of youtube videos, uploaded pics to ChatGPT as I was doing it, too. Got some tips from there and learned as I went. There are imperfections I see/know about, but overall it wasn't too bad.

I bought the window trim and running board vinyl from Metro Restyling. They're selling a roll of 3M Satin (2"x75') for $45.

The chrome strip on the back beneath the work "EXPEDITION" I got the 3M 2080 from Ebay (4"x10') for $31.

These are the wheels I'm looking to get/install:

I was looking for those wheels, then I found these. They were from a 2022 F-150 XLT Lariat. No rear axle shaft modification was required to install the center caps.

I’m also looking at these too:

Some guy local to me is selling them for cheap. They look good, but I dunno if I’ll need to trim the axle shaft either.

I bought these rims for my nav. Unfortunately, the seller didn't have lincoln wheel caps and the oem ones were too small so I ordered lincoln decals to stick the the caps. I wanna wrap the shoulder strip, roof rack, back chrome applique and front grille insert in gloss black.
