My dealer told me they were notified mine has been scheduled but that I’d get an email from ford letting me know of build date but I haven’t seen anything else come through yet.

Same for me. And still pissed about the rear entertainment. My dealer told me mid to late March for availability for them to be added to order but I need my vehicle by early june.

UPDATE:
Update on 2022 Ford Expedition production.
The Initial Production run of the 2022 Ford Expeditions is happening.
A total of 303 units are going to be in this initial production run.
Only Timberline, King Ranch (Reg & Max), Limited (Reg & Max) and Platinum trim (Reg & Max) trim levels are being made.
All of these units will be stock units for the dealers.
Retails orders will be made probably starting from Week 3 of 2022 . Once this production run is done and production run comes out to be good. then Ok to buy will be issued for the retail orders will be sent into production , that is the reason all the retail orders are scheduled to week and not day yet. If you see a production schedule change in your retail order probably some adjustments are being done.
Can't wait mine to show up in the locator.

Does anyone know if this is the same RES as 2021 or not? I ordered one with RES for the kids but if it is the same and it delays production, I may just skip it to move my order forward

I don’t usually order a new model like this, anyone else have concerns or feel like they work out most kinks in the initial dealer stock run? Just a mid cycle refresh? I’m usually a late model cycle buyer.

I special ordered a 2017 (first year) Aluminum Super-duty and it has been flawless. I just ordered a ‘22 Timberline. Feeling confident since most of the performance mechanical is coming off established Raptor parts, and the interior looks like trickle down tech from Mach-E. Mid-cycle refresh seems low risk to me.

I did sight-unseen, too. I had a 2019 Platinum that I loved, but it was a company car and I had to give it back. Mechanically there aren't a whole lot of differences from 2019, and since I've got a Mach E, I'm already moderately happy with the electronics, so I pulled the trigger.

Thanks for the feedback - the 2015 has been great overall but looking forward to the refresh. I got tempted by BlueCruise so went Platinum, otherwise it would've been a Limited. I'd like to wait for PowerBoost but sounds like that's going to be 2025.

I think a full electric version will be out by then. That's what I'm waitin for, but not lookin fed to a $100k+ window sticker for an suv.
