2025 Expedition details

Unfortunately ford did away with rwd this year. You can only get this truck in 4wd in all locations. I myself would rather have rwd as well as all my prior suvs were rwd and performed great in the snow or rain.

I noticed today that Eco-mode switches the transmission to 2H….

I’ll try using the manual button and seeing if the great stay on-screen. I thought they stayed on for the Sport mode….

Press the ‘Manual - M’ or the + / - gear shift buttons and the current gear shows up to the tight of the transmission position list (PRND…..) along top of screen. IIRC, it worked in each mode.

At least there is a delivery schedule. My order (confirmed last Oct '29, production started this Feb '21) remains “IN PRODUCTION” for 2+ months. Found worse on Reddit: built trucks totaled by hail pre-delivery. What’s next? My truck gets abducted by aliens?

I have not found a way to do this on my '25. If you shift manually, then the gears will display but in normal driving mode, it doesnt want you to know what gear you are in. I noticed it hunted a bit more between (I assume) gears 9 & 10 more than my '22 did. There might be a way to program the display to show the gears all the time but I haven't found it.

That’s what i was afraid of. So no tach and no gears showing in normal mode on a super wide 24 inch instrument panel , and no where to add it with all this sophisticated technology and software. So less is more. Come on Ford. Please add it back or unhide it if it’s buried in the menus.
