Cousins,
I recently had to remove the Front Tow Hook Access Panel Cover to clean out some mud from a trip up north.
For the life of me I cannot figure out how to reattach the front tow hook access panel cover!
It has a complexed curved edge in the cover edges and tabs on the distal end that prohibit the cover being snapped back in without attacking it from behind, or underneath the bumper.
Can anyone assist?
Many Thanks,
Jim S.

I found this:
Reinstalling your 2025 Ford Expedition's front tow hook access panel cover is an easy task that requires no tools.
Just follow these 4 simple steps to lock it back into place.
  1. Align the hooks: Line up the tabs on the top of the cover with the matching slots on the bottom of the bumper.
  2. Push the cover up: Insert the top tabs into the slots and press the entire cover upward so it sits flush against the bumper.
  3. Turn the fasteners: Use your fingers to turn the built-in plastic clips a quarter-turn clockwise until they click or lock into place.
  4. Test the fit: Gently pull on the cover to make sure it is tight and secure

Sorry mate, but that sounds a lot like the rear bumper cover for the hitch, the exact same procedure every time I get towing the boat. He asked about the front...

Have you tried inserting tab A into slot B?

Thanks BIG, but Zan is right tho. This definitely sounds like the instructions that I’ve followed for uncovering and covering the rear hatch to expose the trailer hitch on the back bumper..
With this cover, there are no turn locks that I can manipulate, there’s a couple of straight tabs at the proximal end, and the remaining three sides left, front, and right, have a very unusual hook, and dam mechanism that I cannot figure out. I’m enclosing some photos from my iPhone to help you see the math.

I searched for tow hook cover and unfortunately it must have given me the wrong instructions.
This is what my friend at my dealership told me:
The hook covers snap into place. Align the slots and tabs on the cover with the bumper and press until they snap in.
I've never removed mine, so I'm not sure if this will work either. I just thought I would try to help, as I know how frustrating these vehicles can be. I went through issues re-installing interior panels.
