Bought a used '22 Timberline earlier this year. Since then I've noticed that it has a negative rearward rake, that is, it rides higher in the front than the back, by 1.25" when completely unloaded. I haven't changed anything on it yet and AFAIK it is all stock. I came from a F-150 which had a positive rearward rake (nose-down/back-up) like normal. I don't really care about the nose-up stance, but it gets bad when loaded and extreme when towing.
I had the dealer check it out at the same time they took care of a recall and they said nothing was wrong with the suspension. They didn't have any other Timberlines to compare against, but the regular Expeditions had normal rake (nose down).
Does anyone know if this is normal for a Timberline?
37.5" front
36.25" rear
