2nd Gen Timing Kit and Camshafts - What Should I Do?

Hi there. My 2006 Limited RWD skipped timing and my worst fear was realized - it needed a new motor.

I’m beyond frustrated that the shop I took it to told me I just need new camshafts and did not check the bottom end before installing my timing kit. They charged me $320 for new cams and put on $740 worth of parts from the timing kit that I purchased from Amazon(per FordTechMakulco link) before realizing the skipped timing led to bottom end damage and I need a new motor.

I made the tough decision to sell it as-is to a junkyard for $550 and now I have $1000 worth of parts I can’t return as they have been installed.

What is my best recourse to get some money out of these? I don’t have enough posts to post in the classified section and it seems eBay is my best route.

Here’s a few pics. I know the gaskets are worthless now as are the phaser bolts as they’re torque to yield, but hopefully the chains, tensioners, guides, gear and phasers have some value:
