99 with the 5.4L. Original problem was a misfire following playing in the mud. Found decayed old coil boots and replaced them with new ones and added some dielectric grease. Misfire goes away. Now I appear to have a strange shudder/shimmy/vibration when the truck is under load at low RPM's. The harder I press the accelerator, the worse it becomes. But the second it downshifts and RPM's increase, it's magically smooth as butter. I don't know if the mud could have got somewhere it wasn't supposed to or if I maybe pulled on something a little too hard getting the rear coils out or what. I definitely seems more RPM related than speed related. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Did you change the coil boots & the coils? When I have a COP starting to go out I see those same symptoms.

I'll clean the MAF sensor, that's pretty easy. I haven't done plugs yet but it's on my list. And it was just the boots and not the COP's. This morning it threw a list of codes at me.

A few wheel speed sensor codes
C1145
C1230
C1237
C1229

ABS relay failure
C1115

OBD Monitor testing incomplete
P1000

Ignition Coil B malfunction
P0352

My ABS light has been on since I bought the truck and hasn't caused any issues. I don't know if all the sensors are bad or caked full of mud. I took the wand at the car wash and tried to spray out the inside of the wheel wells really well. I don't know if that's causing the A4WD to act up or not. Obviously the P0352 is an issue I need to fix immediately and I shall research that one now.

Update #2 this morning: Pulled the electrical connector for the #2 COP, cleaned it, reconnected it, and now she's running like a top. I guess when I had them out last night, it didn't get a solid connection. Crazy how much better it runs when it has all 8 cylinders. I'll start working those ABS codes as time/finances allow. I just bought the truck after it's been sitting for a year so it has some cleaning up to do. Thanks for all input.
