35" Tires with 22" rims???

Ive saw on the f150 forums it could be done...Not sure if it can on Expys. You guys have any pics. Ive got 22"s and im getting tired of the look. Lookin to go probably a 2-3 inch lift.... Any suggestions?

To run a 35" tire you need at least 5" lift. it doesn't matter what size rim as long as the back spacing is right. I have 20" rims and 35" tires.
I think you have 2nd gen ???
So you might need 6" lift, not sure ..
But tire size is tire size it doesn't matter what rim size it is.

Canadian Expy, did you have to use wheel spacers? I tried to mount 35's and they rub the strut on the rear.

1st gens did not have struts like the 2nd gens so it would be irrelevant anyways. Can you post a picture of how they rub? Also are they stock rims or are they aftermarket? Backspacing could be off.
