So as near as I can read about these Ford motors it seemed the 4.6 was pointless for the Expedition. It seemed to drink as much fuel, little to no towing ability so why???
Maybe what I am reading is wrong on MPG?
Again I have had Chevs prior to this minus a brief time with an old f150 with a 300 I-6 that I loved, sold to a friend and over 300K later its still strong (1996) and they rave about it too.
I know the 5.7 in a Yukon did better than the 5.4 in MPG and about the same in HP and Torque.
I dont tow much so i thought the 4.6 would save me fuel but after I bought the 4.6 XLT and then did a little research I think I would have been money ahead with seeking out a 5.4 model perhaps?
