4 position VS 3 position 4x4 switch

I'm looking to replace the radio bezel because my paint has gone south - so i hit the wreckers and the nicest one i found came out of an F150 - when i went to install it i noticed that the 4x4 switch only had Hi and Lo and didnt have AWD .
the wiring harness lines up ok so it'll go ...has anyone tried using the different switch ? am I about to lose 4x4 LO ? or AWD ?

also - just as a curiosity - i noticed that for those years there are some radio bezels that are intended for a really sqaure profile radio and others that are very rounded -the really square ones dont fit with the 'rounded corner' style radios.

Just swap the switch, from the old panel to the F150 panel or find one from a Expedition, with proper positions. My 2000 radio bezel, has "no paint wear".
