4wd gas tank to 2wd?

So I got this huge tank under my 99 Navi (30gal I am assuming) and I was wondering if the 2wd (26gal) will bolt under with no problems? I think this will solve the issue of the tank hanging below the frame. Correct me if I am wrong.

go measure the dimensions. idk if its a direct swap. if anything people go bigger not smaller. you could always buy a bronco tank and install it between the frame rails where the spare goes. its a 30 gal tank and square.
