4x2 transmission help URGENT

Okay, so my 98 Eddie Bauer transmission with 287k on it finally went out. i ordered a used trans with 115k on it, had it installed but they told me that the replacement trans has an extra sensor that the old trans doesn't have. They test drove the vehicle only at 10 MPH. reverse, and 1st gear were fine but after that it began to shift super hard. They also said that even though only going 10 mph, the speedometer read 100 mph. Does anyone have any solutions to fix this? I really need to make this work if i can.

It would help to know what year trans and model # you had put in...

its a 2001 8-330 4r100 4x2 1L1P-AC

You need a stand alone transmission controller or the pcm where the tranny came from.

I found that i ordered a 4r100 4x2 i think i need an E4OD 4x2. My problem is my trans housing says RF-F81p-7006-AA and i can not find anything that matches that. Is there another trans that will work with that? The closest thing i can find is a f75p
