Actually, we need a lot more info. Please give us:

year
model
symptoms
electrical/mechanical (is the motor not turning over? etc.)

The more info you give, the better we can help!!!!

My 4 x 4 also stopped working. Mine is a 97' with electic switch. I purchased is August and it worked then. That was the last time tried to use it. Checked the fuses and the lights on the dash all work and I can hear something (under the dash) switching. When I go to 4L, I can hear "something happening" in the tranny. The tranny goes into low gear, but there is no 4x4. A few times I thought the 4AWD was working, but that could have been my imagination (or hopefull thinking). Kinda embarrasing having a big 4x4 and getting stuck in the snow.

One question, as your user name is "ex on dubs" and your inquiring about 4x4 help, why? I have never understood the fact that some people put "dubs" on 4x4 vehicles. What kind of tires our you running w/ those dubs. Maybe you can change my opinion on 4x4's w/ dubs by posting a pic.

If he does that, will you register? :)

I'm not a huge fan of 'em on 4x4 myself but the A4WD can come in handy in the snow and sleet regardless of the rim size. ;)

I didn't know what "dubs" meant, so I did a google search and:
http://dubsplus.com/
where you can see tons of pics.
I have seen a lot of these around, and I do not care for them as well.
Kinda reminds me of those body builders that only work on their upper body. Huge chest, massive arms.......and....spindly little legs.
I guess its an aquired look, but no reason to flame me on this, as I can agree that it certainly looks polished and professional when done right!

Dubs means (or meant) 20" rims. I think the term fits for all 20"+ rims. I don't know...and don't really want to expend the energy trying to find out! :D

The guy who's unregistered:
www.cardomain.com and look for expeditions.

Monsta - here's a breif explanation:
Dubs, twanks, "dem thangs" - 20's
Dub 2's, twanky 2s, blah blah blah - 22's
Dub 3's, blah blah you get the idea - 23's

Rwinch, it really depends on what kind of rim you get. Not all make the truck look like it has "spindly little legs". If you get bored, check out a rim by Motto called the MT100. I've seen them on an Expedition in person and fell in love. They're what I'll be getting when i drive in 5 MONTHS. haha.

:)
