4x4 light panel question

I have a 2003 Expedition. The 4x4 switch indicator is either 2, AWD, 4 hi or 4 lo.

When I turn the key 1/2 way, I see the 4 Hi & Lo, but NO AWD.

Is there a light for AWD?

They took it off for 2nd gens. I do like having the indicator in my truck though.

good question. Id think because its A4WD (auto 4 wheel) so its not always in 4 wheel. no need for it to tell you I guess.

The reason I like the indicator light is because it tells me the magnetic clutch in the transfer case has power. No light means something is wrong. Still without the light, you would know the clutch is off since you would be basically driving in rear wheel drive haha.
