I have a 98 expedition that I'm looking into lifting. I'm new to the expeditions but not lifts. I've seen fabtech is a popular one but want to get insight with people with more knowledge. I'm looking for more ground clearance bigger tires. I doubt this will see offroad use maybe hunting trails and stuff like that. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are just looking for a little more height and clearance, you can just crank your torsion bars, and add a 2 or 3 inch spacer to the coils in the back... Very minimal cost. Front is free, back is maybe $80.. That's what I did, plus a 3 inch body lift. The BL won't get you more ground clearance, but it will get you bigger tires, which could help on the trails with a little more height.

I agree with Lane24 by just adjusting the torsion bar it can lift the suspension 2-3 inches higher. But if you want higher ground clearance, lift kit is what you will be needing.
