OK, spent a little time searching this forum on behalf of a friends '99 Expedition (Eddie Bauer) that's parked in my driveway.
We towed it over here and replaced the starter (made him do most of the work), so at least now I can move it out of my way. The rear looks like he's smuggling something or another. Of course he doesn't have much money.
So.... next step is eliminating the rear air ride. What I can't get a good read on doing a little searching, is does this truck have 2wh or 4wh leveling? Rears are definitely air bag, but front looks like it may have some sort of small AB on top of the spring. Is it as simple as putting Coils in place of the Rear Air Bags?
