Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. When you turn off the A/C the blower goes to wide open, and also the blower while on only blows one speed. I tried to replace the blower resistor and it smoked the new one as soon as I turned it on. I just unhooked the wires and hooked up to the new one while I was troubleshooting. Called a dealer and he said it sounds like the blower controler but they want $85 just to troublshoot. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Ok, Going to let everyone know what was going on. If your expedition has automatic controls for the A/C and this happens to you. You will need to replace the HVAC Blower Motor Control Unit Part No. 19E624.
