A/C won't turn off

When ac turned off the defrost still blows. When on auto and I try to lower fan speed it does t change. Stays on high. Gets warmer when I increase the temp or colder when decrease the temp. If I turn it off while car is running and turn the car off and then on it remains off. How do I get it workng normal?

My '07 did this exact same thing on our trip to FL eariler this year. It happened once and after stopping at a rest area and restarting the truck, it was fine.
