I'm about to takle my front end squeeking problem but a have a question... The upper ball joints can be pressed out and replaced? During my searches online I see people replace the whole control arm but advanced auto sales upper ball joints seperately so I'm confused

I just replaced my ball joints and it has to be the whole control arm unless you replaced them befor. If you go to advance auto ask for the moog brand and then if you have to replace them again you can press the moog out and replace it with a moog. There not cheap. But they have cheaper ones if price is a issue. but on ball joints there not a issue for me. gotta have'em

Took my car to my mechanic to have him look at ball joints he inspected them and told me the only original one is the pass side lower but my drivers side lower had no grease in it so he greased it and no more squeekng... Saved me about 400 bucks in parts and about a whole day of hard work and busted knuckles!!! And he did it for free!
