I have only had one stock unit fail after 123k so I only have one Accel coil pack but it is working fine. I think it has been installed for about 15k miles.

I had 2 or 3 go bad at once, so I decided to replace all of them. The only ones the part store had 8 of were the accels. Plus to my surprise they were cheaper then the motorcrafts. I think I may have screwed up the clip on the harness. I have it wire tied on now and she is purrin like a kitten on all 8. Fingers crossed.

I was going to buy some, i talked with my part guys, some friends with mustangs, and looked em up online, they didn't get very good reviews, a lot of people had problems with them from the sounds of them, I found the msd equivalents for $300 online , i think ill just stick with those

How's it going im new to the membership but have used the site for a while. I started with the accel and they work great. I have a very high compression of 10.6: 1 which will definitely put the spark to the test. They have been on since I built the motor 6 months ago.

Yup, seems they go around 100-120K usually just one, but when one goes might as well replace them all cause another's probably on its way out

+1 for change them all at once.... especially if you are gonna change plugs I would spend the extra money and do the COPs as well... on ebay all 8 are under $100 shipped and since you already have to move them why not replace them and be good for another 100K +
